Kirsten Owen in India by Paolo Roversi, 1989

Paolo Roversi captured model Kirsten Owen under the Indian moonlight with a Leica M6:

“Light is the most important thing in photography. For this special shot showing the portrait of the young girl with a crown of little white flowers, I worked in the moonlight with the Leica M6 and a Noctilux lens, which I set very open and completely open. The result is that the reflection on the girl's profile is purely due to the moonlight. I love this photo, it's magical for me. A photo that gives you an emotion and touches you somewhere, is a good photo.’’
